Another thread got me thinking about the future, and I think it's better as a blog. It's really long, so I don't expect anyone to read it all. I know a couple people are interested in this stuff.

Star Citizen is a new game in the works by Chris Roberts of Wing Commander Fame
Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish are so much alike that I will be able to squeeze them into a single blog. However, TAN is no ordinary boring site and using ordinary boring phrases simply will not do. The phrases will have to be realistic and practical. Therefore this first part will be a sort of test, where, beside my own exampels, you can suggest phrases that you think would aid you in everyday life. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

This is a brief overview of the modern Norse languages — not including insular Norse (Icelandic, Faroese) — wheree I will try to highlight common features and differences. I will compare Swedish (rikssvenska, högsvenska), Norwegian (bokmål, nynorsk), Danish — and just because I can — my own Ostrobothnian dialect. Because this is meant as an introduction, I will focus on the bigger picture rather than intricate detail.

Finally got around to watching this movie; and it immediately reminded me of TAN, as it is overly obsessed with Nazis and ass-fucking. Appropriately, all the murder/torture victims are Jews. Gee, what a surprise.
