(26/05/13) Disturbing footage shows Al Qaeda training young children in Deir Ezzor province in Eastern Syria. The organisation carrying out the training appears to be Al Qaeda's major branch in the region - The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant - the result of a recent merger between two powerful Jihadist factions - the Islamic State of Iraq and Jabhat Al Nusra.
The children are provided with assault rifles and are seen to undergo military training before apparently undergoing Al Qaeda indoctrination in a classroom and filmed singing songs celebrating 9/11.
