i was talking with my old economic professor about china and the usa, and what he said to me was that the west isn't scared about china's communism but their capitalism.
the worlds 2nd largest economy is spending about half as much as the largest economy in the world...... when china bumps up its spending it is seen as threatening stability where as the USA ups its spending and it is seen as an insurance policy for world peace.....
