it's quite fun actually! you want to reveal your test results to the fellow tanners? compare notes on how fukken clinically insane we all are? who is the next ABB?
The galaxy, which was discovered and confirmed using ground-based telescopes, is 12.9 billion light-years away. Data from Spitzer and Hubble were used to measure the galaxy's high star production rate, equivalent to about 100 suns per year. For reference, our Milky Way galaxy is about five times larger and 100 times more massive than GN-108036, but makes roughly 30 times fewer stars per year.
Why the future doesn't need us.
(Thoughts, elaborations and philosophising over the future and its possible impending doom of mankind. Took a while to read, but it was a decent read!)
We always knew there was something not right about people eating mushrooms, leaping at gold coins the size of their body and putting on raccoon costumes in order to fly, but with the release of the DSM-VG, psychiatric medicine has finally caught up to the horrors of the virtual world.
Now, doctors can at last get these characters the help they so badly need.
David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter movies, is set to helm a big-screen adaptation of the popular and long-running TV series Doctor Who. For those unfamiliar with the series, it follows an alien known as The Doctor who goes around with a human companion on mostly episodic adventures across space and time. The Doctor is a “Time Lord” who travels in the TARDIS (which looks like a 1960s-style London police box), and he can be incarnated in different forms (i.e. new actors) up to twelve times and TV show is currently on the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith). However, Yates says his version will not follow the current TV series and will be a completely fresh approach. It’s a smart move because you don’t risk angering fans of the TV series, or forcing newcomers to catch up with a show that’s been on and off and back on the air from 1963 to 1989 and rebooted in 2005.
the trailer has been released, yeeah
Nature is awesome. I don't care what anyone says: nature porn is the best porn out there.
Young people at risk of depression are more likely to listen habitually and repetitively to heavy metal music. University of Melbourne researcher Dr Katrina McFerran has found.
(If this is social science in Australia, I'll forever make fun of their brain capabilities! Also, lol at url!)
Sure, his children are adorably cute in their own right, but that's not what makes his photos so interesting. It's when he puts his own spin on their everyday moments that we not only get to experience our own childhood again, we're able to see a father's pride shine through.
(No, this isn't Fritzlian stuff!)
(I was going to link to the entire interview which is linked at the bottom of this article, but some of the user comments were, whats ams one says, gold!)
"I mean, the whole West is going down the shitter. And we're all being deceived by the same group of people, it's a hostile corporate take-over of the Western world they call the New World Order and they're trying to put about a world government. They're talking about it openly now. So the people in the United States and in the West are victims of high tech propaganda. It's worse in the United States, clearly, people have become far too trusting of the government."
Below are over two dozen science fiction pictures that are worth your time. Fans of their respective franchise may cry foul on the lack of Star Trek or Serenity, but really those films are about the characters and plots and not really about the loftier ideals of science fiction.
The state of ruin is essentially a temporary situation that happens at some point, the volatile result of change of era and the fall of empires. This fragility, the time elapsed but even so running fast, lead us to watch them one very last time : being dismayed, or admire, making us wondering about the permanence of things.
(Perfect location if there ever was to be made a Fallout movie?)
Many argue that Mr. Breivik was in fact executing orders from Mossad, to punish the Palestine-loving Marxist-governed Norway, but first and foremost to create a false banner for misinformed right-wing extremists to unite under, and that what he was doing was a "false flag" operation.
If the bomb blast in Oslo turns out to be a terror attack, it will mark a 9/11 moment for Norway.
(I personally think this is a load of overblown crock. One car was tipped over, one building attacked in the middle of summer vacation, some windows blown out in nearby buildings and a few dead. Not nearly enough dead to warrant the measures they're now taking, cos Norwegians are more equal than the rest of the world, it seems.)
A Swedish fan has been diagnosed with an addiction to heavy metal.
Planet Rock reports that the Swedish government will subsequently provide financial aid to help 42-year-old Roger Tullgren attend concerts. Doctors found that his non-substance compulsive disorder resulted in an addiction to heavy metal that impacted his personal life.
The female principal of a middle school in Stockholm has reported a 15-year-old boy to the police for sexual molestation after he grabbed her behind.

This "hipster trap"—baited with Pabst Blue Ribbon, American Spirits, a bike chain and neon-pink Wayfarers—was photographed by Reddit user gigaface, who encountered the fauxhemian hunter in New York City. Before you object to the choices of bait, remember that having any opinion at all about hipsters or their taste preferences automatically renders you a hipster.
this is mah hard rocking version of Townes Van Zandt's Waiting Around to Die!
firsties, there's no real mastering here, just an equalizer and a hard working compressor, rly!
secondly, no amount of high cost equipment can make an idiot sound good, as evidenced by this! facilities, equipment and hours poured into this amounts to the low end of the six digit US dollar scale (among them an SSL AWS 900 something something ($79500), two Neumann U87 (roughly $2500 a piece, ebay), ESP Horizon II, Orange 120w amp/cab (~$3000, ebay) , Marshall JCM2000 (~$2500, ebay) amp/cab, a myriad of mid to high end microphones for the drum kit and a decent vocal mic (ADK Vienna Edition) + a few working hours for me and my musicians!
METALLICA guitarist Kirk Hammett joined TOOL on stage during the band's January 14 concert at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. WASHINGTON — Federal law enforcement and national security officials are preparing to seek sweeping new regulations for the Internet, arguing that their ability to wiretap criminal and terrorism suspects is “going dark” as people increasingly communicate online instead of by telephone.

In this near useless article you will also find the music video from her nu-metal band Wicked Wisdom. Also, in the comments there are a few gems that made me laugh out loud!
For those viewers who didn't know the first episode had leaked, here it is. I find this show to remain in a steady decline, and has been since the third season.
