This Aint News

Questions seem to beget questions, but there is finality. Every rabbit hole does indeed have a bottom, and it is our responsibility as caring, free thinking, community minded adult human beings to continue to follow the hole all the way down, until we know exactly how far it goes and understand it's path. Only then do we truly become learned and capable of digging deeper and expanding our very-singular conciousness. We are a species capable of accomplishments and advancement so grand that nary a human mind has yet to conceive our collective capability, but right now we are a species led astray from our potential - hence, we need agreeable guidelines within which to operate and communicate. I believe these guidelines are fair and I ask you to abide by them.



1. This blog will not be about seeing both sides - it will be about seeing all sides. There is rarely a topic with just two sides, as most have at least three - my side, your side, and the truth. The truth resides at the center of all sides. (inb4 "how can the truth be a side if it's in the center?")

2. Discussion is highly encouraged. Arguing is all but prohibited. Know the difference.

3. There will be no name calling, only respect. Name calling stifles communication and unnecessarily discredits. When replying to this blog or others who have replied, feel free to disagree, and omit the insults. I appreciate a good flame war like anyone else, but please save it for a forum other than this one.

4. Stay on topic. This one should need no explanation. Expanding and evolving the topic are one thing, diverting it is another. Again, know the difference.

5. If you make a factual statement, you would be much obliged to source your data, be it up front or if contested. I realize that some things are known known's, but be prepared to defend your statements should you be challenged. You may also want to be prepared to defend your source. If you're using Fox News as a source, the story better be about gas prices or a local feature piece - no one with a critical mind would believe Fox News when it comes to things like national security, foreign policy, etc.



Reality is not a consensus opinion; it is the summation of verifiable facts. This blog will attempt to clear the smoke, break the mirrors, and expose the flaws at the heart of it all for the sake of correcting them.
