So one night my buddy was telling me about this freakish gun made by Taurus/Rossi . "Man, it is a revolver action shotgun/rifle". So of course I had to see this thing for myself. A quick jump on the computron and there it was.............
At that moment I felt like Ralphie from the Christmas story ogling through the department store window at the Red Ryder BB gun. This I must have. The Circuit Judge is a variation of the Taurus Judge.......a handgun of big boy sorts. Both shoot the .410 2.5" and 3" shotgun shells.......as well as a .45 Long Colt. A bear gun.
This is the Raging Judge. However, it seems to be comically large. Like something Pee-Wee Herman or Carrot Top would whip out for a sight gag. The Circuit Judge seemed to be a better fit as an all purpose gun. Plus it looks so fucking cowboy....or should I say Gaucho considering this beauty's Brazilian roots. Not only will this be an awesome grouse gun, but you can have the option of superior stopping power. FUCK YOU GROUSE!!! FUCK YOU BEAR!!!!!
Anyway, this head can explain things in detail................
......and this to show off the accuracy of the .45.........
So when I got my interest free loan back from the government, I made my purchase......and boy I couldn't have been happier! The ATF doesn't really know how to classify this weapon, so it was simply a matter of a quick background check and I walked out the door with it.
First chance I got, I rallied a couple of folks up to go try this Masta Blasta out. The Circuit Judge comes with two choke tubes.
A straight rifled choke for the .410s only. This choke keeps the shot pattern tighter for longer.....and boy does it seem to do the trick. Those Power-Aid bottles didn't have a chance at 20 yards. We put it through the paces with the .410 shotgun shells. First thing we noticed was how incredibly light this gun is. Also the Truglo fiber optic sights that came with it seem to be more than adequate. As you can see there is a scope mount, but I am still not sure I want to scope this. It works pretty fucking badass as it sits....
If you do want to scope it, the Circuit Judge comes with this nifty little hammer extension. This way your thumb is not in your face when you cock the hammer back. However, we did find that the pull through on the trigger is butter smooth and you may not even need it.
So after the first outing I was just ITCHING to shoot the damn .45s out of this little beast. Some friends ended up convincing me to go camping in a moist tick infested forest.......this was my chance to get my REAL blast on. So I put in the smooth bore choke, which you can shoot both .410 shot and .45s. The only downside with the .410 shot through the smooth bore choke is that your shot pattern spreads faster, but it also means you can alternate .410 and .45s in the cylinder.........TEEEHEHEHEHEHEEEEE!!!!
Anyway, I got up there and we started giggity-gattin'. Loaded up the .45s, put up a 5.5 target at about 30 yards.
POOOMPH!!! Dead fucking center.......leaving no bullseye and a hole as big as a small monkey's fist. Did I take a picture to prove it? No, you are just going to have to believe me. Overall the grouping was great and it did quite well at 50 yards even. The kick on the Circuit Judge is not bad at all, and we found it easy to realign with your target quite fast after each shot. Everyone up there who shot it was very impressed. Afterwards when the ammo was spent and the sun sank over the mountains..............I prayed to the Gods of Hellfire!!!!
So to conclude.......go buy a fucking Circuit Judge. It is fun as fuck!!!!
nice mate, very nice. very jealous. over here in the uk we're limited to what we can own. we can have small calibre bolt action rifles, shotguns and air rifles - some of which you need a licence for.
i have this:
Weihrauch .22 HW 95K Break Barrel
which is very cool for popping rabbits.
and one of these:
which is a spanish grulla purdy style 12gauge shotgun. it's a lot older than the ones pictured but still shoots a charm. technically it's not mine as the licence is in the family name and stored at my old house but i take care of it and take it out whenever i can. makes a great noise.
when finally set up somewhere in the country i'm going to look into a .22 hunting rifle plus a mate has a silenced shotgun which is immense. one day... one day!!
i don't own a gun coz i have a big penis and don't need to show otherwise...
you show you're incredible immaturity and general savagery with statements like that. sure some guys flaunt the fact that they have a gun, but you can take anything that exists on that planet and some douche will do that. a gun has nothing to do with cocksize whatsoever.

That is a cool air rifle. They pack quite a punch! My buddy uses one to keep the marmot population down around his house. And that shotty is fucking beautiful. That has got to be some serious money going on. I was at the gun show and got to hold a 14,500 dollar shotgun. Had all this cool filigree and an Indian motif with elephants and shit.
My dad wants to get some guns in France. Not sure if the French allow foreigners to buy guns though...
I looked it up and it sure doesn't sound like it. Unless he is a cop or has some kind of security clearance. Also sounds like you can't even purchase without having a license from the French shooting federation for at least 6 months and a residence in France. I also think the Brits would have some of their own B.S. just to bring it back.
What's your old man looking for exactly?

^Well he's semi-resident in an isolated part of the Pyrenees, right on the Spanish border and everyone round there is armed. The locals go hunting every weekend.
I seem to remember seeing shotguns and ammo for sale in French supermarkets as a kid; not sure if it's still the same.
Incidentally his dad lived in an equally remote part of Wales and had a totally unlicensed shotgun. Rural folk are a law unto themselves...
Thing is my, Dad's allowed loads of shit in France no questions asked he'd never be allowed in UK. Like knives, a proper chainsaw etc.
You can't buy a fucking chainsaw? Wow......I suppose if he has a residence in France, I guess he could. Does he have a French Shooting Federation license? Goddamn......I think I would rather just buy something from the Jamaican in the alley behind the takeaway........

he loads three 410's and two .45s
that way he has three shots that wont go flying though 5 or 6 houses (and offer less chance of him hitting his own family)
and then the two .45s for in case he needs real stopping power
