Unfortunately, in our societies quest for balance, we've managed to somehow culturally segregate & divide practically every faction of our race (the human one). Do a quick google search on the word 'equality'. You'll find tons of hits supporting equality, but unfortunately all of them come with a twist. You have to be supporting the less valid rights of some organization who feels their rights are less applicable than others.
Eg. "Equality between women and men or gender equality—promoting the equal participation of women and men in making decisions; supporting women " "Non-profit organization fighting discrimination in housing and promoting social and economic rights." "Advancing equality and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual"
Personally, all of these people can go fuck themselves. As a straight white male, where's my lobby group? There's no straight pride parades and white parades just get one called a racist. I'm not rich so I probably could get away with equal rights for the poor but their parades end up at the welfare office for some reason.
In reality, none of these groups should exist as they're actually harmful to the idea of equality since they only serve a specific sector that basically states 'We're different than you, and no you can't be in it'. There should be equal rights parades where anyone can hop on a float.

Honestly, I really don't care if I'm white or not. I'm proud of my family ancestry (scott/ dane), but I really don't need to celebrate the fact. Sure, the Irish get a special day, which I'm happy to partake in easily, but why can't we just have a day which everyone can celebrate. I wonder how someone goes about starting an international holiday. I need to ask the anonymous blokes to make me a video.
