updated list of players!have you ever felt like force feeding some lithuanian labourer a rocket up his ass? have you ever fantasised about seeing lightning strike some wise mac multiple times? now you got your chance, cos me and some other people have signed up for quake live to play among ourselves, and hopefully too in private games! now you can shoot your co-pirates in the face, at least if they're there to shoot your face too!
quake live is an in-browser game, so no pirating or installing of hacks and wacks! no payments either, unless you want to, or the webmaster is broke!
on the quack live network i've currently amassed these ducks in my friends list, including me of course:

Quack runs pretty well, though. I wish we could arrange some oldschool UT matches as well!
the democratic thing is obviously ut99, cos everyone can run that game flawlessly!
I have a number of smaller projects that could be utilised and developed to create fun stuff for tan, but as with everything ... time and priority.

Basically it had normal gameplay, except there were also randomly spawned artifacts laying around. Each one gave you a different special ability. You could only have one at a time. Added a lot of interesting dynamics to the game.
I did play something similar on the original Half-Life, weapons from various eras, but no, not RuneQuake. There was also that fun wild west mod.
If TAN wasn't so damn small and full of lazy/busy/incompetent people :( there could be a TAN game/mod.
