anyone else see it?

it basically wasn't as good as episode 9. It was basically a giant wrap up video with nothing exciting going on except:
- Undead Army
- Khaleesi Slut gets her dragons back
Don't even get me started on Ghayleesi. Her storyline is complete garbage. In fact my friend whom is reading the books says he skips every chapter that is about her (the book apparently tells you who the next chapter will be about). She's basically some hot little girl who basically knows nothing and has done nothing, who suddenly walks through fire and hatches baby dragons. All the chicks love her in real life because she's the feminists ultimate wet-dream. A hot, young powerful strong girl.
I don't even care if it was in the books but the baby dragons frying that undead wizard to death was completely retarded and I actually laughed during that scene.
In conclusion the finale was basically a slightly longer regular episode. Episode 9 definitely had to be the best one yet.

Same here. Fantastic series, and I'm currently watching the first season again on blu-ray (downloaded, natch).
And Wolffe, your friend is missing out quite a bit if he's skipping Daenerys' chapters and will come to regret it when he comes to read the later books. She's not a minor character by any means. Can't say anything else because it would reveal stuffssss.

But general gheyness died with Renley. I have to say I don't like in-your-face gayness in recent TV series. I am watching The Borgias too, so there I was hoping that one will go pass without sticking gay stuff in my face. Bam ! A scene of Mykoleto or whatever his name fucking his gay lover in a cemetery. There are at least a dozen strong, smart female characters. Khaleesi isn't one of them at this point in the story but you know she is going to kick ass later.
Brienne is tough as shit. I know a few "feminists" and they love Cersei. Arya is scary-tough.

It is just a reality, lots of fgays here in the USA so if they're not represented that would be false. They aren't trying to be edgy its more of them trying to be accurate.

You really should download it. I don't watch normal TV, either, I just download series that take my fancy. I'd seen the last 3 episodes of seaon 1 at my mates last year and once me and the missus had a free block "nothing to watch" I remembered about this. Epic show.

Nope, in the book the warlocks never captured her dragons in the first place. She goes to the house of the undying on invite alone. Also the warlock does not get burned, Daenerys simple touches him and he crumbles into dried parchment.
The series really does play fast and loose with the storyline of the books to make it more appealing to your average viewer, but I'm not gonna complain as long as they keep it as damn entertaining as they have so far.
