Yes I know this is a quiet carriage where loud conversation should be avoided. I'm just having a conversation (at regular volume) with my colleague who is sitting opposite of me (seats facing each other). I have been sitting here for 40 minutes having this conversation and you just waltz in and sit near me on a half empty train and tell me to shut up about 2 seconds after your ass hits the seat.

Piss off. I'm having a business discussion with a friend and nobody else on the train has complained. If you dont like it sit your fucking ass on an empty seat on the other side of the carriage. I dont give a fuck that you want to read a book. I was here first - nobody else complained so fucking do something yourself about the noise and push off.

(PS I snapped back and told her to keep her voice down cause I could hear her and it is a quiet carriage).

I could hear these two people talking somewhere else on the carriage through my HP's I had my music on that quiet. Same situation as Beez, some bitch enters the fray, sites down in the seats next to mine across the middle of the carriage, looks at me and starts bitching about it being a quiet carriage and I've got my music on and that's not allowed. I just told her to fuck off and she got up to get an attendant, who came and said I'd been there for a couple of hours not bothering anyone else and that my headphones weren't a problem.
