An online fundraising effort to assist a Greece bus monitor verbally abused by students raised more than $85,000 in its first day.
The effort was set in motion by a video of 10 minutes of profane taunting endured on Monday by bus monitor Karen Klein.

Yeah they are trying to make it a retirement fund for her. The best part is that it's all small gifts, so she will pay no taxes on it.

I'm just glad kids didn't have cell phones when I went to gradeschool... I'm really not sure I wasn't a dickhead at times. I can't remember if I was victim, bully, or bystander, but the video really seemed to tug something in my memory.

I don't believe in hitting. I'm a strict parent but I punish without force.
I swear to the flying spaghetti monster though, if my kid ever treats someone the way those cruel little shits treated that poor woman, who never took the bait or lost her temper once... she'd be caned or worse. Maybe the wooden spoon, my mom used a wooden spoon on my sibs and I and I remember it hurting like hell. Grounded for a lifetime. No phone, no internet... that would only be the start. Fucking hell that makes me SO angry.
I'll give up a couple of lattes or a dinner out for this lady, no problem.
