Out of the 10th Anniversary Firefly Reunion panel came a surprise announcement which will delight Browncoats the world over:
Bleeding Cool was on the scene when Joss Whedon and The Science Channel’s Debbie Myers confirmed to a packed room of journalists that if the planned Firefly reunion movie performs well that we can expect a full Firefly series reboot. And, it seems as if Whedon plans to wipe the slates clean and bring back the entire original cast.

Just the red head dude (can't remember his name). The rest were all fucked up at the end during the fight with the reavers but aside from pilot guy, they all survived. Too bad he had to die though, he was a great character. The movie is actually what got me into the show.

Preacher man died as well.
[quote user=GanjAmigo] how do you reboot a series using the same cast?

well the whole point of "reboot" is to negate what has happened.
a REALLY easy way to handle it is to go back int he timeline before the movie. especially since the series wasnt "closed" and the movie is the only thing causing story problems.
and in the movie, i have to say that killing off Preacher and Leaf was a great way to offer closure to the fans since the series was cut so short

it was brilliant. i've no doubt joss whedon will not disappoint the die hard fans (who have been campaigning for this since it was cancelled)

who is leaf? do you mean "wash" the pilot? i liked his character, but then i thought they were all superb in it.
