Now this is how racism works: it isn't necessarily White rednecks in gowns and hoods hanging black people, but that sublte impulse that makes you hold your purse tighter when a coloured person walks by, or the taken-for-granted assumption that foreigners are a problem (to this I'd add the White person panick when they hear about aboriginals reproducing faster).
