I have been using SSRI for 2-3 years, very little side-effects. I've also quit a few times (for a variety of reasons) and had very few withdrawal symptoms. SSRI -- nor any other drug -- will not cure depression or anxiety, it's only there to give you more energy and a more stable temper, to help you with your therapy and daily life.
- Decreased or absent libido
- Impotence or reduced vaginal lubrication
- Difficulty initiating or maintaining an erection or becoming aroused
- Persistent genital arousal disorder despite absence of desire
- Muted, delayed or absent orgasm (anorgasmia)
- Reduced or no experience of pleasure during orgasm (ejaculatory anhedonia)
- Premature ejaculation
- Weakened penile, vaginal or clitoral sensitivity
- Genital anesthesia
- Loss or decreased response to sexual stimuli
- Reduced semen volume
- Priapism (persistent erectile state of the penis or clitoris)
WTF! These were stamped by the FDA as safe? How the hell?I think you might need to read about who's running the FDA, or where they worked beforehand.
