The guy can channel Ike all day long (and usually does) but many people in this potentially great nation of ours can't shake the "black Democrat = socialist" mindset. Still, if you look hard at policy & ignore rhetoric, this guy would have fit comfortably in the pre-Saint Ronnie Republican party of my youth (with enough white make-up, of course).
Now we can clearly see that he's not "scary cool black dude". He's a dork (which is not a bad thing in a president). A segment of America remains terrified that we've got a president that is some kind of combination Snoop Dogg & Huey Newton when we really have the bastard offspring of Steve Urkel & Cliff Huxtable.
The Red Team can preach 'family' values all day long; but this shows REAL American family behavior. If you don't embarass your wife & children in public at least once a month, they take away your 'Dad' card."
