found this for cheap, 4.6l v8 will be tossed for a huge cube motor based off of a 460 big block ford.....looking 540-560 cubic inch......1000 hp is the ticket, naturally aspirated at about 13:1 compression

first gut the engine compartment, toss out the fenderwells, mofify the suspension to fit the big block upgrade the trans and scrap the rear end, add subframe connecters and cross bracing. Add a million more necessary mods then Look at what you have and discover it would have been cheaper to buy a new Z06.

i couldn't do that fido, the car is missing one vital part.......a bluish coloured oval emblem on the front

basically the whole point isn't to have the best looking or most popular car, the point is to have a drag car that i can race often and not break anything, and these things are reliable as a cast iron frying pan, and anything i do to it will only increase that

Fast drag car and reliable car are opposites. Any car that is really fast is not reliable and anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

really depends on how much money you spend for high quality materials......most of the time power and reliability are trade offs for sure, but if you've built your car to withstand 1000 hp and you only put out 7-800, you're pretty safe

i have wanted to get a Holden VB Commodore SLE for a while now. my plan is to paint it all black, put in a 6.2 LS3 and keep it completely stock on the outside except for the rims.... i would love to scare the shit out of all these wankers in their new sports cars with old school Aussie/American muscle.... would also love to get a XB/XC Fold Falcon Coupe, but they are just too freaking expensive.....

You know I really have to thank you Mmateri, months ago you brought up the fact that the ranger uses proven technology and is overbuilt for its size, making it super reliable and 4x4 capable. I'm now getting one and will take care of it as if it were my baby.
And FUCK ford for dropping the ranger & redesigning it into the POS it is today, also that version aint even in NA.. lmao.. Greedy fucks just want everyone to buy a f150. fuck that shit.
2000-2011 the look of the ranger barely changed- that to me signals they concentrated on improving its reliability, not aesthetic look (which matters not).
