for a start i got a light just hanging from the ceiling, its like that, only minus the hanger. also i has a light switch that once upon a time was held together with masking tape, although the tape has failed now, so it just flaps around

i could fix it myself, but i don't care aboot it really

i got a plug socket thats hangin off the wall and sparks like a son of a bitch when i plug in or unplug.

Council housing?

Couple years ago put 2500 feet of new wiring in my place; all new lights, switches, outlets & shit.  Bought a book & did it myself - fuck building permits & inspections...  Cool as hell when someone comes over and there you are, in your electrical tool belt, wiring shit & drinking beer...but that was only a couple of times...
