Nice, a lot of people dont like to use pencil mics for overheads but I've always thought they work pretty well, and have you tried aiming the snare mic more towards the center? it's good for getting a fuller sound.

well, i had four hours rigging the set, and also the guitars, along with having the musicians running through the song while i set up sound, so instead of trying different mics i picked the most expensive small mics i found in the luxury box! they're not necessarily all right microphones, but they're expensive :>
a full 12 mics were used, so it's quite the full sound! you don't see the two ambient mics in that picture tho!
