Guys,
since biggles is no longer here, and I don't want to bother him on his first day of vacation. I figured this woul be a good place to ask. A member posted a blog that did not meet the guideline requirements that asked a reasonable question. I removed it after that person got their answer since it didn't meet the requirements and I didn't want to be a dick about it. (they commented that the got the info) My question to you the users, is whether we want to allow questions to be asked in the blog format without following the guidelines.
Just to be clear I'm not talking about stupid questions, this is more for things like: Has anyone been able to find info about "X"? we can make the guidlines fit this type of content if you wish, otherwise the other admins and I will just stick with the current system we have now.
The choice is yours guys.

Not really just a jumping off point, it's adjusting the Blog guidelines so valid questions don't get deleted because they are 3 sentences

It was my understanding that they were, and that the guidelines were supposed to be heeded. If that is not the case, then this whole posting is pointless.

I think this'll be good. Questions that can be asked. It'll encourage some more community, and it could actually be alearning a'ventur.

disagree. why delete it if it's not only informative but sparks some conversation on here? any question blog will be a hell of a lot better than 95% of what you write.

My only beef with that is that we may get repeats which I am sure someone will bitch about. That and the whole point of this is so I don't have to delete them at all. Mark the blog with the header [Question] and I ignore it (as long as it's not a stupid question).

If you would rather I ignore legitimate points about how we run things thats fine. People are going to bitch and complain no matter what we do, or don't do for that matter...
