I actually had the old DOS version of this game way back in the day, so I had quite a bit of practice which helped when this version came out. They aren't exactly the same, but the basics were there.

I loved the original PC version of the game and its wonderful to see the game and level design 'uprated' for the SNES port... I had a bit of a startle when I saw the new end of level type guardians- Even the Jaffar battle seemed like some slog to negotiate! I am interested to know though, how did you find the locations of all those hidden potions? Were you using a game map?
