YouTube's Nazi experts (see comments) seem to think it's not the same wave and if it some how was then he's using the wrong arm. I don't think most people apply the same rigorous standards when judging a Nazi salute.

actually this guy wasn't nazi saluting, although i did think so at the time.
a news article said that he's actually very hurt by the misundertanding as being an 80 year old dude he kinda fits into the nazi youth thing but whatever his backstory from the old days he's actually a stand-up dude... back in the '72 olympics where the israeli team were taken hostage by them palestinian terrorists, black september, this dude offered his own life in return for some of the hostages.
