Take a look and see how Detroit was once one of the best cities in the US and indeed in the world. That all soon changed however when liberals took control in the 60's all the way up until this day.
As somebody who was BORN AND RAISED in Detroit ( Puritan and Greenfield RESPRESENT) I have to say it wasn't the libs...well, mostly not the libs....white flight had a lot to do with it. Also, civil and racial unrest ( see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_Detroit_riot ) was a big stink as well..
When all that shit went down, most of the factories left The D and went into the suburbs and surrounding cities and continued to flourish while Detroit got shittier and shittier. Then Crack came thru and turned an already shithole into an even shittier shithole....Businesses dried up, neighborhoods became vacant,schools sufered cuz most kids were on the block curb serving and the ones who did stay just came for the free breakfast and lunch...
And oh Yeah, crime shot thru the fucking roof...I have personally seen some shit that makes New Jack City look like Sunday Brunch....I mean yeah the libs did kinda fuck up with all these social programs to get more people sucking on the government's tit but you cant put the blame squarely on the libs...
Im saying this not AS a liberal,but as dyed in the wool LIBERTARIAN with some conservative values......
